Favourite Footballing Compilation Video's

1. Zidane The Scientist- This is a fantastic video highlighting the elegant Frenchman in all his splendor.  From goals, touches and passes it fully encaptulates all he was as a player.  Slowed down and close ups of him and his fantastic feet.  The track by Coldplay is also a popular pick for me as I love their music.  The maker of the video perfectly times the music to the video itself, very well done.

2. Any number of Baggio videos could be put onto this list, there are some really fantastic ones of him uploaded.  A player I didn't see a-lot of first hand, apart from the latter years of his career.  But he is one that I have enjoyed watching on television progs and old matches.  His career was defined by moments more than the riches of trophies and titles.  One of the goals he scored that appears in this video, a solo effort is one of my very favourites.  Well put together this video it charts Baggio's career and leaves you wanting more.

3. Now for one about a more recent and current player: Juventus' Claudio Marchisio.  Really like this player, enjoy watching him both for his club and country.  As I have watched a fair amount of Serie A in recent years, (Juventus in particular) have been able to chart how his career has developed.  He scores the odd nice goal and has a real elegance about him.  Hard working and dedicated, he is exactly the player you'd want in your own teams midfield.

4. Johan Ceder makes the best Manchester United videos on the web, for my money!  He has produced a range of videos which, in video form shows the history of Manchester United, memorable seasons and also individual player compilations.  The music, quotes, how he works in audio clips is perfect.  The videos often feature music from bands that have come from Manchester and also a-lot of Sigur Ros.  Could easily have chosen any of his videos to feature.  But opted for the one of that amazing treble season.  Think it has to be my favourite that he has made so far.

5. What a player and what a compilation.  Very well put together and is a fantastic overview of how fantastic the man was.  Wish I had seen more of him first hand during his career.  Incredibly gifted and couldn't help but draw some comparisons to Zidane in terms of his style and touch.  Currently doing a great job managing Swansea and with great style too.  They have lit up the league with their football and won the League Cup- Swansea's first trophy in their 100 year history.
